Congratulations to Mckenzie Stanley (North Eltham; ex Lower Eltham) and Liam Banthorpe (Plenty) on making the Victoria Primary Schools 12&under cricket team in the Australian School Sport Championships to be held in Toowoomba (QLD) from January 8 to 16 .

They following on from... Ejaaz Alavi (MC) two seasons ago and some boy called Michael Hill (DC) nearly 8 seasons ago
... who represented Victoria Primary Schools in the U13 Australian Championships.

Riverside women
go 2-in-a-row!
Congratulations to the Riverside Women’s team who wrapped up their 3 match Grand Final series 2-0, with 2 comfortable victories over Yarra Valley to secure back-to-back Premierships.

Riverside is the only DVCA club which supports a women’s side in the VWCA and the girls have enjoyed a very successful season with Kerry Johnson winning both the batting (393 @ 131) and bowling (28 @ 7.3) averages and Kathryn Ennor taking out the wicket keeping award with 39 dismissals (including 9 in the Grand Final games)
(Kathryn Ennor is also well known as a DVCA junior umpire)
