Here's how FIXTURES, RESULTS, LADDERS, STATISTICS works.

NOTE THAT WITH THE CHANGE OF SYSTEM SOME OF THIS ADVICE IS OUT OF DATE (to be revised August 2008)

This page contains advice on how to find or do things on this and other websites:

How to see fixtures:
- on front page of DVCA website look on LHS for the word "fixtures", but carefully click only on that word not the whole box
- general fixture opens with default frame being empty (will show Barclay Shield or what you last selected)
- in first drop down, select grade you want (screen will refresh)
- in second drop down, check it agrees with first box
- third drop down should also agree (it is set up to handle more complex fixture structures than the DVCA has
- then click GO.

How to see results for your grade (other games):
- on front page of DVCA website look on LHS for the word "results" carefully click only on that word
- similar screen to fixtures opens up and generally follow same process

How to see the scorecard (for a match):

How to see ladders:

How to see statistics for whole grade:
- on front page of DVCA website look on LHS for the word "Statistics", but carefully click only on that word not the whole box
- general statistics portal opens with default frame being empty (dates and the word ALL in most cases or what you last selected)
- first drop down, select year you want
- second drop down MATCH, leave as ALL
- third drop down GRADE, select actual grade you want (screen will refresh)
- fourth drop down TEAM, leave as ALL
- then click GO
- list will compile alphabetically; sorting is done by clicking into boxes (or the word) at the top of column (two types H to L or L to H)

How to see statistics for your grade at your club:

Please note that towards the end of the season, player statistics are "turned off'' so that competition awards for best bowling and batting etc remain largely unknown and then can be announced at the presentation night ceremonies.

Riverside women
go 2-in-a-row!
Congratulations to the Riverside Women’s team who wrapped up their 3 match Grand Final series 2-0, with 2 comfortable victories over Yarra Valley to secure back-to-back Premierships.

Riverside is the only DVCA club which supports a women’s side in the VWCA and the girls have enjoyed a very successful season with Kerry Johnson winning both the batting (393 @ 131) and bowling (28 @ 7.3) averages and Kathryn Ennor taking out the wicket keeping award with 39 dismissals (including 9 in the Grand Final games)
(Kathryn Ennor is also well known as a DVCA junior umpire)
