MICHAEL COX
Michael Cox, 17, took five wickets in five balls for Epping's second X1 against Mill Park in Diamond Valley (Melbourne suburban) cricket in 2005. Bowling first change on a synthetic wicket, his figures were 7-4-16-7. His wickets were bowled, lbw, bowled, bowled, bowled and caught. His last wicket was in a fresh over.

LUKE PETERSON
In his first game for more than a year for suburban Melbourne club Mill Park, 26-year-old Luke Peterson made 447 not out, all on one Sunday afternoon against South Morang (2001-02).  'I only played because the fifth X1 boys were short,' said Peterson, who struck 37 sixes and 38 fours after coming in at No. 3. He gave three chances, including one that was fumbled and went over the ropes for six, a la the infamous Paul Reiffel miss of Lance Klusener during the '99 World Cup semifinal at Old Trafford. Ironically, Luke's only previous open-age century was for South Morang against Mill Park.
